A new model for legal services has been long overdue. Mark Stafford has now built it.
Mark has spent more than 36 years representing businesses and professionals in resolving complex litigation, employment, healthcare, and business disputes. He attained prominence serving clients within large, preeminent law firms, and as a result, has for multiple years received Best Lawyers in America recognition for “Bet the Company Litigation.”
In recent years all businesses, including law firms, experienced revolutions with technology and industry consolidations, as well as cost pressures on internal resources. Resulting efficiencies provided law firms with the opportunity to pass along savings to their clients while continuing to deliver high value services. Many, however, seized on these changes solely to boost profits for themselves.
Nevertheless, for many years, large firms have been the only available go-to sources for top-tier quality across all practice areas. But not anymore.
Clients now have an alternative. Blue-chip partners are starting their own practices, collaborating with others who have done the same. Many, like Mark, also look to long-term relationships with lawyers across the country to meet clients’ needs outside the local landscape.
All of this means that abundant capability can exist for each legal need as it arises. Clients can now obtain the quality of major firms without subsidizing lavish offices, exorbitant profits, or resources beyond their present needs.
At least one “Big Law” attorney realizes it.
